Industrial Maintenance Technicians

We are a large-scale food equipment manufacturer that is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians across all shifts. If you have 2+ years of experience working with PLC systems and are comfortable with VFD's this could be your next long-term home!

Key Accountabilities

Inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining food processing and packaging machines, mechanical/utility equipment in a USDA production environment.


Responsibilities

• Set-up, troubleshoot and repair of stacking, bagging, check-weighing, UPC bar coding, case erectors and conveyor equipment.
• Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment to perform repairs, cleaning and lubrication according to established maintenance schedules.
• Testing, troubleshooting and repair of 110/230/460V electrical equipment including motors, starters, relays, timers, panels, breakers, conduit & wiring.
• Must be able to trouble shoot equipment and systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, general electrical, including VFD's.
• Minor programming and troubleshooting of VFD’s and PLC’s.
• Knowledge of PLC programming on multiple platforms including RS Logix and Factory Talk View programming.
• Knowledge of servo drives, motor controls, pneumatics, hydraulics and power distribution.
• Fabricates parts and modifies equipment as required.
• Responsible for upholding, following and maintaining the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience in a food (USDA or FDA) manufacturing environment.

• Exp. with production and packaging machines working on mechanical and electrical problems
• Exp. working on automated machinery
• 3+ Years of troubleshooting hi-speed machines
• Multiple years of mechanical & Electrical troubleshooting
• Food production exp a plus
