Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is an integral part of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all our machinery and equipment are running at peak performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining systems and machinery, diagnosing malfunctions, and performing necessary repairs. You will work closely with our production team to understand their needs and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they escalate.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues with complex industrial machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot problems with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Work with manufacturers and field representatives to ensure equipment is serviced according to the manufacturer's specifications.
• Implement strategies for industrial maintenance to improve machine longevity and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and general industrial maintenance.
• Proficient in the use of manual and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in challenging environments.
• A technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
