• Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and review of individual, trust, and estate tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Manage and mentor tax staff.
• Review and approve tax work papers, tax returns, and related correspondence.
• Assist with tax audits and respond to tax notices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals.
• Stay current with tax law changes and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience.
• Proficient with QuickBooks.
• Experience in individual tax return, trust estate tax, estate tax, 1031 exchanges, and 754 adjustments.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor staff.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
