HVAC Technician

We are a GROWING HVAC company headquartered in Norfolk, VA looking for multiple HVAC Technicians to join our team!

Job Details:

We are seeking a seasoned HVAC Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, providing essential services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, commercial HVAC, heating and air conditioning, and possess EPA Certification. This role will require you to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Performing regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify and fix potential issues.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in HVAC systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols during the installation and repair of HVAC systems.
• Providing technical advice and support to clients and other team members.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to design and optimize HVAC systems.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in HVAC technology and integrating them into operations where applicable.
• Documenting all service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Providing exceptional customer service, answering client queries, and providing comprehensive advice and guidance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience working as an HVAC Technician.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, commercial HVAC, heating, and air conditioning.
• EPA Certification is mandatory.
• NATE Certification is preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Excellent technical and mechanical skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• A strong understanding of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using various HVAC tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
