HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating systems. This is a contract position that requires an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating systems.
• Regularly inspecting systems to identify any issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing client concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated work details.
• Working closely with the team to ensure all project deadlines and standards are met.
• Providing technical advice and information to clients and colleagues when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• EPA Type II certification is mandatory.
• Proven residential HVAC experience.
• Valid driver's license and must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficient in working with various types of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning and heating systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Flexible to work in different shifts and extended hours if required.
