HVAC Automation Controls Technician

Job Details: Currently hiring for an HVAC Automation Controls Technician to install, start-up, and commission digital control systems while maintaining quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for layout, installation, start-up and commissioning of DDC systems including sensors, control panels, communication equipment, communication loops and troubleshooting, and documentation of all work in detail.
• Proficient with electrical control circuits: Relay Logic
• Reading blueprints and control diagrams for installation of control devices, correct installation path of conduit and circuitry.
• Operating company-provided hand tools, powered or battery tools, ladders, scaffolding and lifts.

MUST HAVE:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Direct Digital Controls (DDC), PLC, SCADA, Process Control, HVAC, Electrical, Building Automation or Energy Management industries.
• Valid, State Issued Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to pass a Federal Background security investigation
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening prior to employment and thereafter at random intervals.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Electrical Engineering/Electromechanical Engineering or in Electronics Engineering Technology
• Prior work on Government Contracts
• Advanced Safety certifications e.g. First Aid, CPR, AED
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
