We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent HR Manager in the Manufacturing industry. This role is critical to our business as you will be responsible for managing all human resources activities including talent acquisition, compliance, terminations, and more. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in HRM and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As our HR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics.
2. Supervising the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
3. Serving as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions.
4. Monitoring adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
5. Dealing with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
6. Anticipating and resolving litigation risks.
7. Conducting thorough investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
8. Managing talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
9. Conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
10. Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
11. Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of human resource management experience.
3. Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
4. A sound understanding of all federal and state regulations related to HR.
5. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
9. Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.
10. Experience with HRMS and HRIS systems.
