Are you an HR professional with a passion for developing and implementing innovative HR strategies in the manufacturing industry? We are currently seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. They will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

This position will be based in Marysville, MI and will cover New Haven, as needed.

Responsibilities:

As our HR Generalist, your duties will include:
1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
3. Managing the recruitment and selection process.
4. Supporting business needs through organizational development and workforce planning.
5. Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
6. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
7. Conducting audits and providing HRIS and LMS reporting.
8. Providing leadership development and conflict resolution.
9. Administering employee benefits programs.
10. Conducting training and development initiatives.
11. Coordinating with global leaders to ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
12. Performing data analysis and providing recommendations for improving HR strategies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR, preferred.
3. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
4. Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems.
5. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
6. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
7. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
8. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
9. Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR software.
10. Demonstrated ability in managing a broad range of HR activities such as employee relations, conflict resolution, benefits administration, and training & development.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to organize and analyze data.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
