Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Heavy Civil Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, concrete structures, heavy highway construction, bridge and roadway construction. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
2. Manage and supervise construction teams, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
5. Oversee the construction of heavy civil structures, including earthworks, concrete structures, curb and gutter and heavy highway construction.
6. Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress against these.
7. Handle onsite issues and emergencies promptly and professionally.
8. Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
9. Maintain a strong focus on quality, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent or similar role.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale heavy civil/ earthmoving construction projects, including earthwork, concrete structures- bridge repair and box culverts, heavy highway construction, bridge and roadway construction.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred, not required.
7. Certifications in construction safety and project management will be an added advantage.
