**Job Title: Heavy Civil Superintendent - Highway Construction**

We are seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Superintendent specializing in highway construction projects to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of highway construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all phases of the highway construction process, including earthwork, subgrade stabilization, concrete and asphalt paving, and bridge construction.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of project teams, subcontractors, and laborers.
• Implement project plans, manage field operations, and adjust schedules and plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality guidelines and regulations, promoting a safety culture on the job site.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, state and local officials, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conducted site inspections and provided progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Address and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

### Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent, specifically in highway construction.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient in construction management software and technology.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in construction management and safety are a plus.

### Working Conditions:

The position involves working on construction sites, which can involve exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, noise, and heavy machinery.

• Travel to various project sites is required.
