We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Corporate Administration to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage a wide range of administrative and organizational services in a fast-paced, international corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in office management, legal services, human resources, and IT administration. Fluency in Japanese and a deep understanding of immigration policies are a critical element to this role, as you will be working closely with our expatriate team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of corporate administration, including office management, legal services, human resources, and IT administration.
  • Develop and implement administrative strategies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for expatriate staff, providing support and guidance on immigration matters.
  • Work closely with the HR team to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
  • Manage the IT administration team, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the organization.
  • Manage and oversee the budget for the corporate administration department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance, and experience managing relationships with external legal counsel.
  • Experience in human resources management, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration policies and procedures, with experience in supporting expatriate staff.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
