Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Controls, Computer Science or related STEM field
Experience with a variety of aircraft types (e.g. fixed wing, multi-rotor, helicopter)
Experience developing and integrating new capabilities into existing military aircraft systems.
Familiarity and/or experience with the following standards a plus:
MIL-STD-810 or DO-160 requirements and associated testing.
MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-516
SAE AS50881 aircraft wiring standards.
MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704 for aircraft systems design.
Pixhawk/Ardupilot

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) from an accredited university.
At least 5 years engineering experience in aerospace or related technology field in a product development setting.
Experience taking products from concept through detailed design, build and test.
Experience and intuition of aircraft dynamics, stability, and control.
Experience with flight test data reduction and aircraft performance analysis (aerodynamics, flight controls and vehicle subsystems).

Clearance Level Required: US Person Required. Ability to obtain security clearance required.
