Development & Fundraising Associate

This is a permanent position where you'll be instrumental in fundraising efforts, writing grant proposals, and planning special events. You will also be responsible for supporting donor solicitation, nurturing relationships with existing donors, and exploring new avenues for potential donors. Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including annual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and special events.
2. Conduct extensive grant research to identify potential funding opportunities and write persuasive grant proposals.
3. Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and campaigns that engage donors and potential donors.
4. Solicit donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring each donor receives timely and appropriate acknowledgment.
5. Maintain a database of current and prospective donors, tracking interactions, donations, and other relevant information.
6. Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
7. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote fundraising events and campaigns.
8. Foster and maintain positive relationships with donors, volunteers, board members, and community members.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, or a similar role in a nonprofit setting.
3. Proven success in writing grant proposals and securing significant funding from various sources.
4. Experience in planning and executing successful fundraising events.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
6. Strong research skills with a keen attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in using donor management software and other fundraising technologies.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events and meetings.
