Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic General Superintendent to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about construction, leadership and is not just a "sit in the trailer" person. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vertical construction, mid-rise, and luxury high rise projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction activities and subcontractors on construction sites.
• Ensure all construction activities align with the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary due to weather, supply delivery and manpower availability.
• Provide leadership, training, and supervision to project teams, including field staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain a high level of safety, quality, and risk management at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, architects, and engineers.
• Resolve any potential issues or work-site problems quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare and submit reports on project status, progress, and cost tracking to upper management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a General Superintendent in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in vertical construction, mid-rise, and luxury high rise projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
• Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction procedures, and safety regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Must be a "don't sit in the trailer" person, with a hands-on approach to work.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
