General Manager (Construction)

Title: General Manager
Location: Hudson Falls, NY
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
Requirements: Commercial Construction / Roofing Construction/ Management

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the company.
2. Making high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
3. Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
4. Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
5. Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
6. Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
7. Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.
8. Overseeing the construction contract budget and ensuring projects are completed within the agreed budget.
9. Strategic planning and forecasting, as well as managing and negotiating contracts.
10. Ensuring all operations comply with OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 standards.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Construction industry.
2. Experience in Commercial Construction, General Contracting, Roofing, and Commercial Roofing Construction.
3. Proven experience in General Management, Construction Management, Budgeting, Project Management, Operations Management, Vendor Management.
4. Experience in overseeing Construction Contract Budget, Strategic Planning, and Contract Negotiation.
5. Knowledge of OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 standards.
6. Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
7. Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
9. A degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Business Administration, or Engineering would be advantageous.
