General Manager - Carolinas

We are a national leader in the processing and safe disposal of municpal solid waste. We provide outsourced transfer station management services, including the loading and transportation of waste from in-town processing facilities to remote landfills, to integrated waste companies and municipalities

Responsibilities:

• Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
• Hiring new staff within a department or business unit
• Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients
• Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance report
• Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Solid Waste experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• P&L experience is preferred
• 90-100% Travel to transfer sites in the Carolinas
