We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Sales industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. This is a hybrid role that requires a mix of on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform full charge bookkeeping duties including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger review.
2. Ensure accuracy in general ledger and financial statements.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivables.
5. Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted by employees.
6. Coordinate and complete annual audits.
7. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
8. Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management.
9. Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
10. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
11. Maintain historical records by filing documents.
12. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
3. Strong proficiency in Yardi Voyager and other industry-related accounting software.
4. Extensive knowledge of GAAP.
5. Proven ability to handle the full cycle of bookkeeping duties.
6. Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
