You must have a strong experience in QuickBooks, as they use QuickBooks Online.

Job Details:
We are an established small accounting firm seeking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for client bookkeeping and going over those financials with clients each month. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of financial statement preparation, General Ledger, payroll and sales and use tax, financial statements, review general ledger, Balance Sheet, income statement, prepaids, GAAP, and sales tax. Experience with 1040's and 1120's a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform client bookkeeping, mainly account reconciliations, journal entries, sales and use tax, payroll tax, month end close and financial statements in QuickBooks Online.
2. Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy with clients each month.
3. Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and prepaids.
4. Maintain and update accounting records and files in QuickBooks Online.
5. Manage the company’s liabilities (e.g. insurance premium)
6. Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.


Qualifications:
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper in another firm or have had your own accounting service performing client bookkeeping.
4. Proven experience with financial statement preparation, General Ledger, financial statements, review general ledger, Balance Sheet, income statement, prepaids, GAAP, and sales tax.
5. In-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and financial transactions.
6. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and QuickBooks Online.
7. Strong organizational and communication skills.
8. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
11. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
12. Strong communication skills since this is a client facing role.
