Are you a passionate FPGA Engineer looking to take your career to new heights? We are on the hunt for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role, offering a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge engineering projects within the aerospace and defense industry. You will have the chance to work with some of the biggest names in the sector, including Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman.

Responsibilities:

As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of FPGA designs using VHDL and Verilog. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final testing and validation.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement FPGA solutions for various applications.
2. Perform finite element analysis to validate designs.
3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
4. Debug and resolve hardware and system issues.
5. Maintain documentation and reports on design and testing processes.
6. Stay updated with the latest advancements in FPGA technology and industry trends.
7. Contribute to the development of engineering design best practices within the organization.
8. Interface with various devices using protocols such as SPI, i2c, URAT, and Spacewire.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in FPGA design and implementation.
3. Proficient in VHDL and Verilog.
4. Experience with finite element analysis.
5. Familiarity with engineering design processes, specifically within the aerospace and defense industry.
6. Knowledge of interfacing with devices using SPI, i2c, URAT, and Spacewire.
7. Prior experience working with or for aerospace and defense companies such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman is a plus.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
