We are seeking a dynamic and driven FP&A Associate to join our fast-paced Engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to use your financial expertise to help shape the strategic direction of our growing organization. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the finance team and key stakeholders throughout the organization to provide critical financial insights and drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

As an FP&A Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Conducting detailed financial analysis to understand trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
2. Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, providing insightful commentary on results.
3. Managing treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and management to ensure optimal liquidity.
4. Developing, maintaining, and improving financial models to support strategic decision-making.
5. Participating in corporate financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
6. Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
7. Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required to support business decisions.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the FP&A Associate position will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree is a plus.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
4. Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with treasury and cash flow management.
5. Experience with corporate financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
6. A strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business performance.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance professionals.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software systems. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
10. A professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is desirable but not essential.
