Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Foreman to join our team in the Construction industry. This position is not for the faint-hearted, it's a role that demands a blend of leadership, hands-on skills, and a relentless commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and commercial construction, particularly in areas related to cold storage, food processing, and food distribution facilities. Experience in managing subcontractors, industrial projects, and commercial refrigeration is essential. You will be directly involved in the construction process, from system testing to site supervision, making sure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring they comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers under your charge.
• Direct and supervise the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring their safe and correct use.
• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors effectively to ensure seamless workflow.
• Conduct system, pressure, and hydrostatic testing to ensure the reliability and safety of construction systems.
• Handle the installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems, freezers, and other cold storage facilities.
• Oversee the construction of food distribution facilities, ensuring they meet all regulatory and safety standards.
• Implement and manage control systems within the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar role in the Construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing industrial construction projects, particularly in cold storage, food processing, and food distribution facilities.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Proficient in conducting system, pressure, and hydrostatic testing.
• Solid understanding of piping systems, freezers, subslab, and control systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Must possess a valid construction safety certification.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and carry heavy loads when necessary.
