Job Details

Job Duties:

  • Perform routine service, inspection, troubleshooting & minor repairs on special hazard fire suppression and other related system products, including things like restaurant kitchen hoods, industrial paint booths, mobile applications, fire extinguishers, emergency & exit lighting.
  • Consult & advise customers regarding potential safety concerns, such as system deficiencies, electrical issues, heavy grease in exhaust hood, additional fire extinguishers, etc.
  • Service, troubleshoot and inspect several different manufacturers’ systems such as Ansul, Amerex, Buckeye, Pyro-Chem, & Range-Guard.
  • Identify NFPA code and other non-conformance issues and make recommendations for repairs or preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction and that expectations are satisfied before leaving the job site.
  • Review inspection report with customer and provide a detailed explanation of inspection results.
  • Use apps to complete & produce reports that are legible, accurate & detailed prior to leaving job site.
  • Stay current with code requirements and industry changes.
  • Attend & complete all required safety training and company/manufacture certified training courses

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to multiple job sites each day
  • Organized, systematic and adherent to deadlines
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to learn other aspects of the fire protection industry to grow your knowledge & skillset
  • CSA Certification (must obtain within first year of hire)
