As a Permanent Fire Suppression Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our construction sites. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems. This role is ideal for those who have a knack for problem-solving, a passion for safety, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:

1. Install, inspect, and maintain fire suppression systems across various construction sites.
2. Conduct regular tests and inspections to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
3. Identify any system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
4. Provide technical advice and guidance on fire suppression systems to construction teams.
5. Comply with all safety regulations and codes during installation and maintenance activities.
6. Prepare detailed reports on fire suppression system inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
7. Respond to emergency calls involving fire suppression systems.
8. Train and educate construction teams on fire safety and the use of fire suppression systems.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience as a Fire Suppression Technician or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in working with fire suppression systems such as Fike, Kidde, Fenwal, Potter, FM200, Halon, Vortex, Pre-Action Systems, and Dry Chem Hazmat.
3. Possession of TWIC, Blue Card, and Nicet certifications would be a plus but not needed.
4. Previous experience as a Service Technician and Inspection Technician.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and codes in the construction industry.
7. Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies promptly.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and simply.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
