We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our thriving and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing forecasting information to the management. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and is integral to the strategic decision-making process within the company. Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in the job description

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
• Experience with food manufacturing industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
