Finance Manager

Casino gaming company in Las Vegas, NV that produces, designs, creates, and executes gaming experiences is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team!

This position's primary focus is to be a key business partner to primarily support the R&D stakeholders. This role will ensure core financial processes are established, will provide reporting, analysis, insight, forecasting, and budgeting, and will support the existing and future games pipeline and R&D investments.

• Provide analytical support for month end process through detailed variance analysis and interaction with the Accounting group.
• Research and resolve business partnering inquiries for assigned functional areas.
• Routine communication with supervisors relating to financial close and ad-hoc reporting.
• Responsible for financial analysis and planning of the R&D division.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, long-range financial plans, measurements of operational performance, and other KPIs, including Head Count.
• Review and verify financial reports for strategic planning and deal analysis.
• Create financial models and perform analysis for business leaders and client strategy
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Modelling and analysis of assigned cost centers of their budget and forecasts. Ensure that outputs are linked to key drivers and ensure that all assumptions are visible and agreed.
• Responsible for monitoring, tracking and accurate reporting of any third-party studio cost and royalties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or divisional financial planning and analysis with heavy focus on spreadsheet creation and data management.
• Proven proficiency to understand and analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management that allows effective and efficient achievement of business objectives.
• Proven proficiency in project accounting/reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Experience in finance business partnering role and ability to build, maintain and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Experience operating in large projects and throughout the lifecycle of project and process implementing cross-functional transformation initiatives.

PLUS:

• 2+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP system
• Ability to communicate in French.
• Knowledge of the casino gaming industry
• MBA
