Job Details:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Permanent Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives on solving complex problems, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a high level of commitment, as it involves 50% national travel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site installation of complex equipment, perform system set-up, and conduct thorough testing to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on CNC machines and laser systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Program and operate Allen Bradley PLCs and vision systems.
• Use CAD/CAM software to design and implement solutions.
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously improve product design and functionality.
• Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for all service activities.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are met at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of CNC machines and laser systems.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Proficiency in programming and operating Allen Bradley PLCs and vision systems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally for 50% of the time.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
