We are seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our projects, working directly on-site to oversee and ensure the quality execution of our construction plans. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the project team, interfacing with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver superior results. This position requires a deep understanding of design specifications, commercial construction, and construction engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to create and implement design plans and specifications.
2. Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
3. Produce detailed reports and documentation related to project progress, issues, and resolutions.
4. Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure the quality of work and adherence to predetermined timelines and budgets.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and challenges, applying engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
6. Facilitate communication between the project team, clients, and contractors, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
7. Continually monitor equipment and structures, making necessary recommendations for modifications or repairs.
8. Participate in project planning and forecasting activities, providing expert input on construction engineering matters.
9. Implement and maintain safety protocols on the construction site, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with design specifications, commercial construction, and construction engineering.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
6. Proficient in the use of CAD software and other industry-related technologies.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
9. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to various construction sites as required.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
