Family Law Associate
HYBRID office schedule, Fort Worth office branch!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping families and a deep understanding of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption.
As a Family Law Attorney, you will provide critical support to our clients and team of attorneys, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing client files, and communicating with clients, courts, and other parties involved in the legal process.
Must have 5+ years of experience practicing Family Law and an ardent desire to become board-certified in the practice area!


The Day-to-Day:

• Handle a caseload of Family Law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and property division

• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide sound legal advice to clients

• Represent clients in court proceedings and effectively argue cases

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to strategize and develop case plans

• Attend formal mentoring sessions monthly to receive guidance and support

• Provide updates on cases and discuss achievements during mentoring meetings

• Maintain accurate and detailed billing records to meet the firm's requirements

You have...!

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

• Demonstrated commitment to achieving board certification in Family Law

• Strong knowledge of Texas Family Law statutes, regulations, and procedures

• This position requires someone confident, motivated, values time management and billable hour requirements
