We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to join our thriving team. This manager will oversee day to day operations at the National Harbor.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation and management of assigned facilities and programs, including development of short- and long-term strategy for maintenance deliverables and improvements, and management of planning, estimating and execution of minor and major repairs and replacements of equipment and associated building fixtures.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships to ensure confidence in our business and to present a credible and professional image. You will be responsible for communication with various departments of the National Harbor, including Property Management, Operations, Marketing, Security, and accounting departments.
  • Managing the engineering and maintenance staff to ensure high levels of individual and collective performance delivering excellent service to the client. This includes overseeing an employee’s performance, providing guidance, identifying development needs, and managing the reciprocal relationship between staff, the organization, and the client so that each is successful.
  • Manage and deliver contracted services in accordance with agreed processes and service level agreements to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Manage the preventive maintenance and work order system to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and life safety systems.
  • Prepare and develop monthly progress reports, operating budgets, and equipment life cycle reports.
  • Manage all life safety, elevator, back flow prevention and other various inspections per county and state regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing facilities with a staff of 5 or more..
  • Proven experience in supervision and training, with a knack for leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with building maintenance, operations, and life safety systems.
  • Must have a Stationary Engineers License.
