We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Fabrication Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Fabrication Manager, you will:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fabrication department, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement production strategies and plans, with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and profitability.
3. Supervise and manage a team of fabricators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are competent and confident in their roles.
4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fabrication processes into the overall production plan.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
6. Manage the fabrication budget, controlling costs and ensuring resources are used effectively.
7. Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous standards and customer expectations.
8. Handle sheet metal fabrication, paint, powder coating, and welding processes, ensuring optimal performance and output.
9. Manage the maintenance and repair of fabrication equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fabrication management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, paint, powder coating, and welding processes.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
9. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
