We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for all cost components, including labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
2. Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
3. Utilize estimating software to calculate, maintain and track all project estimates.
4. Prepare and submit bids using the "Bid to Win" process, ensuring that bids are competitive, accurate and submitted on time.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide cost data regarding project feasibility.
6. Conduct post-bid analysis and review to compare actual project costs with estimated costs, identify variances and implement improvements in estimating practices.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, material costs, and competitive pricing to ensure the company's profitability and competitiveness.
8. Maintain a comprehensive database of up-to-date cost information to support accurate estimating.
9. Participate in presentations to clients and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field is required.
2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
3. Proficient in project estimation and "Bid to Win" processes.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Proficiency in using estimating software and technology.
6. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients.
10. Knowledge of local construction market, including pricing conventions and trends.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and logically.
12. A proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
