Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with a knack for accurate estimation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Permanent Estimator with a solid background in the commercial and industrial sectors, higher education, K12, interiors, and tenant improvement. This role is crucial in driving our company's success by providing accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess a keen eye for detail, excellent mathematical skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates through a meticulous analysis of plans and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs for select trades.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of project specifications and intricacies.
• Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Conduct thorough risk analyses, identifying potential issues or obstacles to ensure an accurate reflection of risks in cost estimates.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring a comprehensive knowledge of cost fluctuations and market trends.
• Review design options and recommend optimal solutions based on cost, quality, and material availability.
• Actively participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Assist in the preparation of studies, materials, methods, recommendations, and cost estimates as required.
• Provide consultation on planning aspects, including schedules and manpower needs, as required by project management teams.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in commercial, industrial, higher education, K12, interiors, and tenant improvement projects.
• Exhibit a strong ability to read and comprehend construction plans and specifications.
• Showcase exceptional mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Procore, Bluebeam, OST, etc.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
