Job Details:
We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. As a Permanent Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with a project. This is a pivotal role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction estimating, budgeting, and project management.

Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity needs.
2. Precisely estimating labor, equipment, and material costs.
3. Conducting risk and opportunity assessments to mitigate potential project issues.
4. Preparing and submitting financial estimates to management and clients.
5. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
6. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
7. Preparing and presenting cost reports and project bidding proposals.
8. Maintaining knowledge of current industry trends and technical developments.
9. Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
10. Utilizing specialized software for job costing, scheduling, and project management.
11. Participating in project management throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
3. Proficient in project estimation, construction estimating, budgeting, and construction management.
4. Solid understanding of construction scheduling, cost management, and risk assessment.
5. Familiarity with project bidding and blueprint reading.
6. Excellent knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
8. Strong mathematical and IT skills.
9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
10. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
