We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator (Mechanical) to join our highly skilled team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Estimator (Mechanical), you will play a critical role in our company's success. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects.
2. Reviewing and analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
4. Evaluating the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
5. Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
6. Presenting prepared estimates to clients, project managers, contractors, or other team members.
7. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Estimator (Mechanical) position, you must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically within mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects.
2. A strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
3. Proficiency in reading and understanding construction blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.
7. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
