You will be working on high rises, stadiums, and massive commercial projects.

Job Details:

We are seeking a seasoned Estimator for Commercial Concrete / Industrial company in the Construction Industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a billion-dollar company that is hungry for growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, specifically concrete construction, and a proven track record in preconstruction. This role will primarily focus on large-scale projects such as airports, stadiums, and convention centers. A successful candidate will have a knack for accurate estimation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering top-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades.
2. Coordinate with project management teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and specifications.
3. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
5. Provide technical support to project management and business development teams.
6. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications.
7. Maintain a comprehensive database of cost and statistical data.
8. Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on project cost estimates.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in commercial concrete construction.
10. Participate in project meetings to provide input on planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry, specifically in concrete construction.
2. Proven experience in preconstruction and working on large-scale projects such as airports, stadiums, and convention centers.
3. Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
4. Proficiency in using industry-related software for cost estimation and take-off.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. A deep understanding of the construction industry and a drive to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
