As an Estimator, you will be tasked with meticulously preparing concrete construction estimates, covering aspects such as footings, poured walls, flatwork, and post-tension design elements. Our portfolio spans various project types, including multi-family, hotel, religious, medical office buildings, and industrial projects located within North & South Carolina.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Obtain and analyze paper or digital drawings, constructing detailed bids.
Cultivate strong relationships with General Contractors (GC) and take the lead in sending out requests for bids/quotes.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the bid process and requirements for each request, including necessary visits to construction sites.
Work within company guidelines during bid preparation to maximize profit by considering labor and material costs for each project.
Take responsibility for the entire bid submission process, from drawing receipt and analysis to submittal and the final iteration of the best and final bid submission, including all bid deliverables.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 3 years of experience reading drawings and developing quotes/bids.
Team player with a penchant for building both internal and external relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Plan Swift, or BlueBeam.
Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings/prints.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Self-motivated and punctual.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under moderate time-sensitive pressure, demonstrating excellent follow-up skills internally and externally.
