Responsibilities:

• Evaluating project plans and specifications to determine the total cost of the construction project.
• Collaborating with project managers and other team members to resolve any technical issues.
• Conducting site visits to gather information necessary for the estimation process.
• Assessing project demands, including manpower, materials, and time requirements.
• Researching bids and construction proposals, ensuring all factors are considered in the estimation process.
• Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible prices.
• Preparing quantity surveys to determine the amount of materials needed for the project.
• Presenting bid packages to clients and stakeholders, explaining the details of the cost estimate.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that estimates are accurate and competitive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years working in construction estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating software, Proset.
• Exceptional communication and negotiating skills.
