Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice in estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, and related areas to our diverse client base.
2. Prepare and review a wide array of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
3. Handle all aspects of trust administration, including the interpretation of trust agreements, the preparation of trust accountings, and the preparation and filing of fiduciary income tax returns.
4. Advise clients on the implications of estate and gift tax laws and develop strategies to minimize the tax burden on estates.
5. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and in dealings with the Internal Revenue Service.
6. Stay updated on the latest developments in estate planning and tax laws and regulations to provide the most accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
7. Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to estate planning.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Estate Planning Attorney.
4. Extensive experience in estate planning, estate administration, preparing estate planning documents, trust administration, fiduciary tax returns, and estate tax returns.
5. Strong knowledge of federal and state estate and gift tax laws.
6. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
