Our client is a boutique estate planning firm. This is a great opportunity for a 3-5 year estate planning associate to join a firm with an extremely extensive existing client base. The attorney will not need to bring in any existing business, and will not be expected to generate any. The firm is currently turning away new clients because they don't have capacity to take on new clients.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration.
2. Develop and implement advanced estate planning techniques to meet the specific needs and goals of clients.
3. Prepare and review various legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
4. Advise clients on tax law and income tax implications related to estate planning and administration.
5. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle estate administration tasks.
6. Collaborate with tax advisors, financial planners, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to estate planning.
7. Stay updated on the latest developments in estate planning law, tax law, and related areas.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear and timely communication with all clients.


Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estate Planning Attorney.
4. Strong understanding of estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, and advanced estate planning techniques.
5. Solid knowledge of tax law and income tax.
6. Preference will be given to applicants with an LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning
