Estate Planning Attorney

We are a general practice law firm in downtown Salem.

Our prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our team.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in estate planning & administration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, guardianship, probate, wills, and trusts.
• Develop and implement sophisticated estate plans for clients, including drafting legal documents and overseeing the execution process.
• Represent clients in probate and guardianship proceedings, advocating for their rights and interests while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Oregon.
• 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Expertise in estate planning & administration
• Experience with probate and/or elder law is desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
