Engineering Technician

My client is world class Aerospace manufacturing company who is in the market to add multiple engineering technicians to their team. They are interested in Mechanical Engineers who are interested in working on complex projects.

• This is slated as a 6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent.

Hourly Rate - Up to $40/hr

Responsibilities

Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that the products you build perform their intended functions reliably. You must be able to complete work as directed, in compliance with internal processes. Specific responsibilities include:

Product Assembly
Set up and operate assembly tools (e.g., standard hand tools, micrometers, calipers)
Assemble products per written procedures and/or schematics
Perform visual inspections
Product Test
Set up and operate test equipment (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges and transducers, flow meters)
Operate high pressure nitrogen and helium test equipment
Conduct functional testing of valve products and record results
Troubleshoot and rework products
