Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for various microcontrollers and systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop board support packages.
- Implement boot firmware and low-level drivers for peripherals such as GPIO, UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Use Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) to manage microcontrollers and ensure optimal performance.
- Write, maintain, and integrate code in languages such as C, C++, and C#.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues, and provide technical support to other team members.
- Document firmware designs and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in embedded firmware engineering and propose innovative solutions for product improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in firmware development, particularly in an embedded systems environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and C#.
- Solid experience with board support packages, boot firmware, and peripherals such as GPIO, UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers, particularly ARM microcontrollers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically and analytically.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- Experience with hardware debugging and troubleshooting.
- Continuous drive to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment.
