Electronics Technician

This role entails the manufacturing, testing, and resolution of issues with exceptionally accurate electronic products designed for aircraft and other aerospace and defense systems. The technician will conduct acceptance tests to evaluate if the accessory (products) adheres to the specified criteria for quality, craftsmanship, size, functionality, and performance. To ensure the production of superior products, the technician will rely on relevant technical information such as work instructions, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.

• Construct the required set up’s necessary to test units.
• Ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
• Sketch, make, build and/or improvise set ups to test all different varieties of electrical/electronic devices.
• Must be extremely familiar with using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s, di-electric test equipment, frequency generators,

counters, and environmental test equipment.

• Perform in-process testing per part.
• Identify parts using stamp procedures as required.
• Recommend changes to process on mfg. outline as needed.
• Meet production schedules daily.
• Develop improvement ideas to promote Continuous Improvement
• Ability to read blueprints and understand schematics, and specifications.
• Understanding of personal computer general navigation.
• Familiarize themselves AS9100 Quality System.
• Keep all documents up to date within the work order packages during the work process.
• Maintain open communication with internal customers at all times.
• The Technician must be able to impart knowledge to junior technicians clearly and thoroughly.
