We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our machinery and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues swiftly. Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuits breaker corrective maintenance.
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or similar role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and machine maintenance tech.
• Solid knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Mechanical Maintenance experience is a strong advantage.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, as required.
