Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in our projects, providing accurate cost estimates to ensure we deliver on budget and on time. This role will require a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of the construction process, and a strong ability to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost of a project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Identify potential cost risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  • Participate in bid presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all estimation documentation, including updates and adjustments made during the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continually improve estimation accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in electrical estimating software and tools.
