Jobot is partnering with a reputable engineering firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems. This role also involves the application of engineering principles and techniques to solve complex design problems and improve existing systems. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply design software to prepare and interpret drawing and specification of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
• Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects.
• Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the engineering industry.
• Proficient in design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ComCheck, AGI, SKM, ETAP, etc.
• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to think creatively and critically to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proven track record of managing projects from conception to completion.
