Electrical Engineer

We are a Fortune 500 manufacturing company that provide products for the automotive/ transportation, aerospace, and construction markets. Due to continued company growth and success, we have an immediate need for an entry-level Electrical Engineer for our Iowa location.

Is your background a match?
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar environment (internships count)

What will you be doing?
* Work closely with production and maintenance to upgrade existing equipment
* Perform repairs and install new machinery as needed
* Manage capital investment projects including the design, budget proposals, scope, and specifications
* Maintain and manage control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
* Assist production with identifying efficient and sustainable improvements to production centers
* Assist maintenance with equipment and control system troubleshooting
* Implement automation designs to improve safety, reliability, and reducing down time
