Electrical Engineer

This position entails primarily providing engineering insights to support both New Product Design and order processing functions. The main responsibility necessitates a high level of expertise typically obtained through specialized education and extensive study. Responsibilities:
Design electrical controls for auxiliary industrial machinery and material handling systems.
Develop, document, program, or oversee programming for PLC circuits and systems.
Manage U.L. industrial control panel and flame control panel programs.
Troubleshoot, edit, and enhance control circuits on manufactured or testing machinery and systems.
Travel to customer sites as needed for development, startup, or troubleshooting of electrical, systems, PLC, and proprietary controls on UNA-DYN supplied machinery and systems.
Create and interpret logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing, and startup.
Oversee all stages of startup and commissioning new control systems.
Develop bills of material/controls expenditures within project budget constraints.
Compile final documentation.
Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology to prepare or delegate the preparation of drawings from layouts, rough sketches, or concepts.
Generate bills of material (BOM) and other documentation in SAP.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information for project purchases.
Conduct site reviews and pre-engineering evaluations with customers and representatives.
Ensure accurate documentation of all changes and modifications.
Provide customers with necessary information (drawings, manuals, documentation) for successful installation and operation.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, and electrical engineers, drafters, and designers to develop electrical schematics and detailing.
Supervise Electrical Engineers & Electrical Designers, assigning tasks as required.
Verify Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers' designs and drawings where necessary.
Ensure compliance with internal drafting standards.
Report progress on assigned tasks.
Identify personal or team training needs and assist in locating suitable courses.
Lead technically on specific projects and agree on the technical approach with the Director of Engineering.
Provide onsite customer support (presentations and fault finding as required).

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree with 3-5 years of directly related experience in an Electrical Engineering role. Job-related experience (JRE) can substitute for education.
Proficiency in automated industrial machine controls and PLCs.
Strong creative design and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in mechanisms, motors, heating, pumps, fans, and controls.
