Electrical Engineer, P.E

Requirements:

• Design electrical power distribution and lighting systems for commercial projects as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors on new construction and renovation projects.
• Understanding of low & medium voltage electrical distribution systems including MCCs, generators, transformers, low voltage substations, and UPSs.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Have a working knowledgeable of NEC codes, and local code amendments.
• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.

Qualifications:

• Experience with low and medium voltage power, SKM Power Tools, load flow analysis, and electrical engineering drawings in an A/E firm environment (preferred)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience reviewing and updating electrical system models.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and p;umbing (MEP) engineers and technicians.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary large capital projects involving owners, general contractors, contractors, and system integrators.
• A solid understanding of design/build (engineering and construction)
• Familiarity with facilities document control systems
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills including generating reports and conducting presentations.
• A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• P.E in the state of Florida.
