We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrical/Design Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, ranging from residential to commercial buildings. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components to ensure they meet project requirements and standards. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to all relevant codes and standards.
2. Create detailed electrical drawings and specifications for construction teams to follow.
3. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project design.
4. Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
5. Utilize software and design tools to model and simulate electrical systems, identifying any potential issues or improvements.
6. Continually monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend and implement new design methodologies.
7. Provide technical support and consultation to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and findings to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical design, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
5. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing electrical system design in construction.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
